Hotel Barranquilla Plaza was the location selected to honor the arrival of the Spanish multinational in the Atlántico region’s capital city. During the event, a group of distinguished guests enjoyed an exquisite wine-tasting session with products from the Vega Sicilia winery.
The new venture is a vote of confidence for the major opportunities on offer in this beautiful part of the country, according to William Salazar, Managing Director of Eulen Colombia.
The event was attended by distinguished guests including Monserrat Quiznan, CEO of Eulen Latin America, Blanca Fernández, representing the Spanish Embassy, and important local business figures Fabio Tarúd and Efraín Cépeda. The guest list also included the honorable members of the Colombian Navy, Commander Joseph Thowinson and Captain Alfredo del Gordo.
Caribbean gastronomy fused with Iberian touches combined perfectly with the Mediterranean wines and the arrival of Eulen in Barranquilla, leading to progress and development for the region and generating academic development and employment opportunities in the shape of 200 direct positions.
Eulen Colombia will provide the city with individuals who have opportunities to improve their quality of life through training programs provided internally to employees by Instituto Eulen. The company will also work hand in hand with institutions such as El SENA, Fenaseo and the country’s family compensation organizations, which all come together to work towards the end goal of promoting continuous improvement and the strengthening of the company through its employees.
The new office will provide a range of services, including facility services, facility management, cleaning and cafeteria services, on-site maintenance and minor work. The Group currently has 2,000 employees in Colombia and more than 80,000 in 14 countries worldwide. In short, this is the beginning of an unstoppable cycle of development for the Caribbean region and its inhabitants.
